The Rose Tech Ventures Team

David S. Rose

Managing Partner

Described by BusinessWeek as a “world conquering entrepreneur” and by Crain’s New York Business as “the father of angel investing in New York”, David is one of the city’s most active early stage investors. His vision and passion for mentoring and supporting entrepreneurs are what drive the world of RTV. During the Summer of 2010, David will be shuttling between Silicon Alley and Silicon Valley, where he is the Finance, Entrepreneurship & Economics Track Chair of the NASA/Google-sponsored Singularity University.

Molly Gunther

Executive Assistant to David S. Rose

An entrepreneur in her own right, Molly founded and ran her own businesses in the US and Europe before turning to executive administration. She is the ‘responsible party’ who keeps the rest of the entrepreneurs in order, controls everyone’s calendars, and is very good about answering emails and phone calls. Unlike some other people [cough].

Steven Zausner is a finance and investment pro with over 18 years of capital market experience. He has helped to successfully launch three asset management firms, built and led three research franchises (in New York, London and Moscow), and has extensive experience in business development, marketing, strategic planning, restructuring/reorganization, M&A, and product distribution. Paul’s many responsibilities including managing the five story RTV headquarters infrastructure, serving as Librarian of the Rose Collection on the Art of the Book, and Printer’s Devil of the Five Roses Press. Outside of RTV, Paul is President of the American Printing History Association, Secretary-Treasurer of The Typophiles, and a well known academic researcher on bibliographic and antiquarian topics.

Bo Bell

Entrepreneur in Training

New to the entrepreneurial arena, Bo has an extensive background in technology, education, and the arts. He has worn the hats of manager, developer, instructor, and designer, and is equally comfortable in the theatre, the boardroom, or knee-deep in code. A jack-of-all-trades by nature, Bo lends a hand in many of the RTV endeavors, and serves as the manager/point man of the SparkSpace incubator; there, he’s also working on his own tech startup, developing new models for interactive exhibit software. Bo blogs his adventures in entrepreneurship at tyropreneur.com.
